COLOUR - Multilight Cabinet
- New Control Panel

A new control panel replaces since the beginning
of 2003 the previous push-button panel . This new modern concept
brings new functionalities without increase in the cost.

| The user can now teach the control panel a sequence
of switching between light sources. This is useful and
time saving for certain test methods.
The programmer will automatically switch the cabinet off if no
one operates it for a pre-defined period of inactivity. This fonction
prolonges the lamp life and helps with energy saving.
Lastly, and especially, it has a device of pre-heating
of lamps. It was always recommended by VeriVide to wait
at least 10 minutes before carrying out controls under perfect
conditions of lighting. The industrial constraints often make
forget this requirement. The programmer thus carries out this
pre-heating and maintains at temperature the lamp or the lamps
selected in the pre-heating option.
Thanks to its new backlighted digital display, the cabinet CAC
VeriVide can also be used under conditions of dimmed light as
recommended by some specifications in order to reduce the influence
of external lights.

The Xenon lamps , like all lamps, create heat. This is why the
standardized weathering tests often ask for temperatures higher
than 45°C.
The Xenon tester Q-Sun Xe-1-C with Chiller option allows to do
photostability tests of products at reduced temperature. The temperature
on black panel can go down until 25°C and the ambiant temperature
can be regulated up to 15 °C. The test surface is 250 X 460
mm. The Chiller acts as a base unit and is integral to the Q-Sun
unit.
This new option is particularly interesting for cosmetic and pharmaceutical
industries.

the oldest analogical Brookfield viscometer still in operation.
The winner of this contest 2002 was determined on December 31.
We thank the many participating companies and decided to reward
the three first companies which were able to preserve their equipment
for such a long period of time...

for laboratory control that can function more than 40 years!

for the measurement of apparent viscosity at controlled
speed. It did not hesitate, in spite of the development
of many increasingly powerful digital viscometers, to invest
in 2001 to renew its range of " good old " analogical
viscometers...

New testing device
for scratch resistance from Taber
The circular scratch test from Taber is ideal to evaluate the
resistance of surface coatings.
The sample to be evaluated
is positioned on a turn table. The cutting tool (tungsten
carbide or diamond) is placed on a hinged jib whose load
is variable from 0 to 1000 grams. The rotation of the sample
allows an evaluation according to various angles of attack
what is particularly interesting for textured materials
such as wood, laminates and technical fabrics . The instrument
is in conformity with ISO 4586-2 and NF-T 51113 standards.

Our agency in Belgium celebrated
its first anniversary in January!
Thanks to all our new customers for Belgium and Luxembourg
which have already trusted our new structure. Our establishment
is obviously progressive but we wish to confirm our investment

we will have very soon, i.e. before the end of March, a
